And welcome to my blog! This is my first time being a blogger, which is pretty sweet considering I get to write about all the fun that I'm having at St. Mikes. I figured I should have a bit of an introduction and give a little bit of background about myself before I dive into the real deal blogs.
The Basics:
I am a Sophomore here at St. Michael's College in the lovely state of Vermont. I originally am from San Mateo, California, which is just south of San Francisco. I am a double major in MJD (Media Studies, Journalism, and Digital Arts) and Spanish and I could not be happier with what I am studying!
The Fun Stuff:
I like to stay involved and busy on campus (since it's so easy to find activities and groups for subjects that interest you) and here are a few of them...
- Tour Guide (best job ever!)
- Blogger (clearly...)
- Acabellas (all female singing group on camps, easily the coolest cats around)
- Club Water Polo
- MOVE (Mobilization of Volunteer Efforts) Service trip to the Dominican Republic. Last year I went to New Jersey to help with Hurricane Sandy Relief
- LEAP Retreat Team Member
You get the gist...
So for the next forever, I will be bringing you the latest and greatest from Vermont. Hopefully this will give you a good idea of what to look forward to doing when you come to St. Mikes!
